“Freeze, dirt bag!” The police officer shouted. “No, you!” The
criminal replied. So the officer stayed there for a very long time.
The War-torn Boy by Jaden Cai
A poor child in war-torn France was struggling among his family. The child was on the streets trying to sell bread while his older siblings were working in a coal mine. His parents were sick so they walked around begging for money. The poor child grew up in France that no one knew before the war. And now, the brain of that child was telling him to give up.
As he returned to the small alley where he lived in. He found something shiny on the ground! He reached down and touched that mysterious small shiny object. His mind swirled and a small ghost appeared in front of him. It looked just like him. The ghost was saying something to himself. “Never give up, Never give up, Never give up” The ghost slowly faded away.
The young boy walked home. On the way back, he says a poor adult sleeping in the alley. The young boy had hope for this person so he dropped the shiny object in the person's lap and silently tip-toed away.
As he reached home, his parents were sitting down on the ground not saying anything. They looked so down. Where were his siblings? He soon realized that they died in the coal mine. The pay that they worked for did not even come to them. Sadness and anger overwhelmed him and he collapsed on the ground.
Trying to think of something good he found the same ghost that he saw “Never give up, Never give up, Never give up”

that they sniff carbon dioxide and fart oxygen.
The Russian Boy (Extended) by Jaden Cai
A russian boy at a very young age was sent to the high mountains. The mountains in the
way north had very rare herbs that could cure lots of diseases. This young boy needed herbs for
his sick grandfather. The conditions of these mountains were very harsh.
As the boy Climbed these northern mountains, it was easy because there was no harsh
weather. But as he finished gathering the very rare herbs that could cure diseases, the weather
in the mountains got worse. The winds got stronger and stronger and the snow got higher up his
legs. The boy panicked and started to struggle in the snow and wind. His mind swirled and his
vision blackened. Out of nowhere, A voice said “Stay Strong till the very end, even when life
takes unexpected turns”
Then, he woke up from his deep sleep. The voice from his dream echoed in his dream
“Stay Strong till the very end, even when life takes unexpected turns” He remembered that one
sentance. When he did climb the mountain, he stayed strong. Even when at the harshest of
times, he went forward and never gave up. When he reached the herbal garden at the top of the
tall mountain, something hit him, something big.
The big animal was a white hawk. It pecked at his back and tried to carry him away. He
Tried to battle the hawk but he was already exhausted from the climb. He suddenly felt lighter
and lighter and before he could scream, he was up in the air. “Stay Strong till the very end, even
when life takes unexpected turns” He heard again. It was like a spirit that was following him ever
since he was born. A great flow of energy exploded inside of him and he took the bird down.
When the altitude was low enough he let go and the white hawk flew away.
After gathering his supplies and his herbs. He took out his very cheap skis and skied
down the great big mountain. But he did not know that something bad would come next.
As he skied down the snowy white mountain a hungry lion leaped on his chest. They
bowled over and over until the tiger was about to kill him. “Stay Strong till the very end, even
when life takes unexpected turns” The boy rolled under as the lion went for the kill and ran into
the thick forest. The lion did not come but he did hear a loud roar of anger. The boy ran further
and further down toward the city.
As he approached his grandpas hut, the odd voice whispered in his head for the very
last time “Stay Strong till the very end, even when life takes unexpected turns” There was a
cold breeze that felt like a slap in the face. He entered the hut and sadness swept over him
when he realized that his grandpa that he ventured so far to save was dead.
Weeping, he carried the limp body out sid and laid it on the cold grass that hasn't been
maintained for many years. This time, the voice did not ring in his head but did he think “Stay
Strong till the very end, even when life takes unexpected turns”

A kid was losing a game but he thought If I stay persistent, then I will win. And so he
stayed persistent and he won the game.
Failure by Jaden Cai
A failure
Easier said than done
As people quote
It’s like Jenga!
Except for almost every block is failure
When you pull out failure
You topple
Just like that
And you feel down
Angry, sad, afraid, despair, and just like a looker-backer
You try to reset the game but it’s time
Time to move on
To another game
And this time
I’ll try not to fail
But a failure is a failure
So always
And always
Move on.
Moral: Always move on despite your failures
When failures come, try to correct them before next time

The Explorer that Needed Some Help by Jaden Cai
An explorer is trapped in an ancient building and does not know how to get out. He is
scared, worried, and anxious. He screams for help but nobody answers because the ruins are
magically haunted with no way to get help. He walks towards a forest, a forest with living
and talking robin. The fellow adventurer asks sees the robin but walks on thinking that this robin
is just a regular ordinary robin.
The robin asks the adventurer “Are you lost strange creature?”
The adventure is scared out of his ming and falls into a hole completely forgetting that the robin
is trying to help!
The adventure tries to run but the robin gets a hold of his shirt! The man screams but it is
no use as the robin carries him up higher and higher into the air!
The man stops screaming but asks the robin “Why are you carrying me up this high?”
The robin replied calmly “Look forward and you shall see the path to the exit you've been
looking for.”
The robin comes back down but the man does not listen but does he run away from his
destination that he wanted to be.
The man is so bewildered that he does not realize that he just tripped on a big ancient
turtle! He turns around not knowing that this turtle is almost as big as him and says “What was
that for!”
The turtle ignores his comment and goes on trudging through the ruins. The man now
knowing that the animals in the ruins are not the same, he walked back towards where he met
the robin but the robin was not there. Hungry and tired, he walked towards a large oak tree and
laid down into a deep deep sleep.
Upon waking up, the adventure heard a grinding sound below him. The patch of ground
in fact was another type of animal. An animal that can camouflage into the ground.
The adventurer did not freak out but stayed calm and asked the large animal “Where are
we going?”
The large green animal replied in a low pitched voice “We are going to the exit of the
ruins for a party.”
The adventurer became excited and asked in a shaky voice “Can you bring me there?”
The Green animal thought for a couple of seconds “I will bring you there because doing
nice things will have nice return” And so the big green animal brought the adventuer to the exit
of the ruins”
A couple years later, that same adventurer came back to give thanks to the animals that
helped him to get out. And to the robin? Well he said “Mistakes were made from me and these
mistakes shall live with me so these lessons will not be made again.

Potato Kills Millions by Paolo Costea, Amogh Rajagopal, Jaden Cai
A potato who goes by Rocco was executed on 6/18/2019 for murdering 3945796
people of the city Beijing, China. How did one single potato do this?
Amogh Rajagopal from Youtube/Instagram News Live found out in this interview “ Ok lets start this tremendously sad mass massacre, we have the person who shipped the potatoes to china”.
“Hi, I’m Paolo Lettucehead. I was shipping the crate of potatoes from the United States to
China. The boat had other stuff like tomatoes, cheese, and a special gas that makes animal’s go
rabid. I was just driving when one of the other crew members named Jaden Memrotes, stupidly
thought the gas was reproduction serum and sprayed the potatoes. 98157 potatoes was sprayed
with the rabid gas but only one got seriously affected. 10 minutes later, the potatoes came
to life. All of the potatoes except for the seriously affected one, jumped off the boat and
swam and all got eaten by a whale. At the time, I didn’t know about the seriously affected
one. That little fella’ stayed on the boat.
When I made it to China, I was so worried that they would be mad for having no
potatoes. But then a little animal ran off the boat. Then I saw it. It was a walking potato. It
was alive and angry it began to carnivorously attack all the civilians on the harbor. I had no
phone to call the police. Anyone who did was running for their lives while others were
being eaten. I got as far as I could and a minute later, the police where everywhere. I
thought I was saved, but their guns did nothing. It was terrible. Policemen were being eaten
and I was scared out of my mind. Then I got it. I realized that if the potato was drowned in
water, the gas would wear off. I gathered up my courage and ran to the potato demon at full
speed. I was so close, then he turned around, but I still grabbed him. I ran and ran, ignoring
the pain of the bites”
Amogh: “Wow, what a hero!”
Paolo “I consider myself a willful idiot. So I ran and ran and threw the potato back in
the water. I waited. It was over! The relief I felt!”
Amogh: “There must have been cheering crowd!”
Paolo: “No. Just about 3945796 dead people… At least I saved a few million people.
But right now, I think there is someone else you’d like to interview!”
Amogh: “Who?”
Jaden: *nervously* “Hiii.”

The Issue with Bullying by Jaden Cai
Think for a second, have you've been bullied?
Not many people think about it but it is actually a big issue. For everyday people who haven't been bullied: nobody deserves to be bullied.
A question to ask many people is that: “Are teachers and other students ready to help other people that are being bullied?” I’ve personally been bullied just the past year. But did they only help after the incident.
I think that teachers and students should do more about bullying not just at your school but outside of school and all over the world. After I did some research, I found out that 1 in 3 to 1 in 4 of all the students in the U.S. say that they have been bullied. That a lot! Just imagine that the school that you or your child goes to, split the school into about ¼ or ⅓ and take one of those sections.
You or your child just may be in that ⅓. I also know some people at my school that have been bullied. And me? Thinking about kids being bullied right this second makes me feel bad. How many kids can be saved from bullies if students and teachers actually took action? A lot. When kids are bullied how do they feel? Bullies never take this question into consideration. Depending on how they are bullied, they could feel depressed, anxious, increased feelings of sadness and loneliness, changes in sleep and eating patterns, and loss of interest in activities they used to enjoy.
These changes may stay until adulthood. That’s another reason why bullying at an early age must be stopped. Luckily, the bullying that happened to me did not leave a permanent scar. 70.4% of school staff have seen bullying. 62% witnessed bullying two or more times in the last month and 41% witness bullying once a week or more and when bystanders intervene, bullying stops within 10 seconds 57% of the time.
Stepping in will reduce the number of kids affected by bullying by more than 57%. Many things that you can do is to step in or ask your child if they have been bullied so that the bullying can stop. People that are being bullied should tell trusted adults.
Now that I have told you my experience and facts with bullying. I hope that you realize how much bigger bullying is in the world. So when you know/see kids being bullied or you know your child is being bullied. Step in and take action against something that could affect thousands and thousands of kids all over the world.

Cubes by Paolo Costea, Jaden Cai, andAmar Dani
The wind from the fan was very strong.
The wind from him was very strong.
Most of the wind was a fart from Dr. Tose.
The Big wind Knocked down a building
And Killed some people.
You see, Dr. Tose is a massive giant.
And giants got to do their thing.
Doctor Tose was like Communism, he cured your depression, but killed you some other way.
Like all dogs, they love their owners but must annoy them.
And as we all know, giants are descendant of dogs.
Dogs have triangle shaped noses.
And the world is a cube and humans are descendants of cubes and cubes are the most unrealistic shapes and
unrealistic shapes are unaccepting.
And the Wall is a wall (I did not know that)
Giants can break through walls.
So in the end, dogs will destroy cubes.
We went from farts to dogs destroying cubes ( ͡⚆ ͜ʖ ͡⚆) .
